    Stroke Program Earns Advanced Certification! 

    NorthBay Healthcare’s hospitals in Fairfield and Vacaville have been certified by The Joint Commission as Advanced Primary Stroke Centers, in conjunction with The American Heart Association/American Stroke Association. “This achievement reflects NorthBay’s dedication toward fostering better outcomes for our patients,” said Rhonda Martin, assistant vice president of nursing operations for NorthBay Healthcare.  

    R2D2 is Almost Here

    r2d2-aThere are just 45 days until the third Annual Ride to Defeat Diabetes (R2D2) takes off from the NorthBay VacaValley Hospital campus.  The ride is a fundraising event for NorthBay Center for Diabetes & Endocrinology, and an opportunity to raise awareness of Solano County’s diabetes crisis. The 10-mile ride is free for children ages 12 and under, and $10 for all others. The 25-mile ride is $25 and the registration fee for the 60-mile ride is $35. T-shirts will be provided for registered riders.  For more information or to register online visit NorthBay website at

    Renowned Surgeon Takes Role at NorthBay


    Ramin E. Beygui, M.D., a cardiovascular surgeon widely recognized for his work and leadership at UCLA Medical Center and Stanford University Medical Center, has accepted the position of medical director of Cardiovascular Services at NorthBay Medical Center.
