Orlando Torres’ journey began shortly after his diagnosis of testicular cancer. The 19-year-old cinematography student decided to document key moments along the way. The short video (above) includes an introduction to his journey, and a segment when he had friends and family join him to cut his hair, because he didn’t want cancer to take it from him. Orlando’s story is one of several featured in the Fall issue of Wellspring magazine, which shipped out to homes in September. The magazine, which is also available online at http://wellspring.northbay.org/, includes numerous stories of hope and features survivors of stroke, heart attacks, cancer and more.
