As an OB/Gyn, I have the unique ability to care for and treat women through all of their life stages from adolescence to motherhood to menopause and beyond. My initial interest in the field came from the ability to share in the awe-inspiring process of childbirth, but quickly grew to encompass all of women’s health.
I believe that a strong physician-patient relationship is an integral component to the overall health of a woman. I am open and straightforward with my patients, providing them with information and education so that they can be active partners in their healthcare. I have a special interest in new contraceptive technology and helping my patients find the birth control method that is safe and fits their lifestyle.
I also have interest in helping to educate our future physicians. I was a clinical instructor of obstetrics and gynecology at Northeast Ohio Medical University during my residency. I have also been active in patient education research and won best resident research in OB/Gyn in 2011.
I joined the Center for Women’s Health as I believe in treating the whole patient. This setting provides patients with easy access to many healthcare providers whose primary interest is caring for women.
