As a pediatrician, Dr. Chang cares for children from newborn to age 18. He enjoys working with families and helping them develop healthy children.
“I look at each visit as a learning experience as well as a clinical session,” Dr. Chang says. “I’m as much a teacher as I am a clinician and I like to make sure both the children and their parents understand their diagnosis and treatment plan.”
Dr. Chang comes to Solano County from the Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital & Sequoia Hospital in Palo Alto where he was a pediatric hospitalist in the nursery and neonatal intensive care unit. He was also a clinical instructor of Pediatrics-Neonatology at Stanford School of Medicine.
“My experience as a pediatric hospitalist has given me an appreciation of how delicate newborn babies are,” Dr. Chang says. “Because of this, I’m able to help new parents cope with the anxiety that often comes as a first-time parent.”
Dr. Chang loves caring for children of all ages and he looks forward to building long-term relationships with the families in Green Valley.
