Professional Profile:
Prior to joining the NorthBay Center for Primary Care, Dr. Nagar practiced as a hospitalist at NorthBay Medical Center and VacaValley Hospital for nearly two years. Hospitalists are physicians who practice inside the hospital, often caring for patients with complex medical problems.
Dr. Nagar says practicing as a hospitalist has given him added expertise and insight into healing that he can share with his adult patients. As an internal medicine physician, he treats patients who are age 18 and older.
“One of the reasons I’ve opened an outpatient practice is that I enjoy building lasting relationships with my patients,” Dr. Nagar says. “I firmly believe in preventive medicine and helping my patients overcome medical problems to achieve good health.”
