NorthBay Healthcare is a not-for-profit organization based in upper Solano County. We enjoy an outstanding reputation in the community. Inaugurated by the efforts of the community in 1956, NorthBay Healthcare has continued to grow along with the local population.
Today our organization includes NorthBay Medical Center, NorthBay VacaValley Hospital, the NorthBay Cancer Center, and the NorthBay Center for Primary Care. These facilities provide a wide range of services to Solano County residents. Nearly $80 million is budgeted for building new facilities and upgrading existing facilities in the next 10 years.

The NorthBay Center for Primary Care is a primary care practice established by NorthBay Healthcare in January 2002 to ensure an adequate supply of highly qualified primary care and specialty physicians to meet the needs of its rapidly growing market. Launched in April 2009, NorthBay Heart & Vascular Center is the first step in bringing advanced cardiac care home to Solano County. When every minute counts, NorthBay's esteemed cardiac team is ready to put its state-of-the-art equipment and technology to work, saving lives. The latestest techniques, including off-pump coronary artery bypass and valve repair and replacement surgeries, are now available in Solano County. And later this summer, cardiologists will begin performing life-saving Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) procedures, in which blocked arteries in the heart are opened mechanically to retstore blood flow to the heart muscle.
We know spending time with your family and enjoying local recreation is an important part of your life. That's why NorthBay Healthcare offers a hospitalist program to physicians who choose not to care for their hospitalized patients. The hospitalists care for unassigned adult medicine patients who access care via the emergency rooms at NorthBay Medical Center and VacaValley Hospital. They are also available to care for the hospitalized patients of local physicians, at physician request.
