SDI Brings High-Tech to Vacaville
Solano Diagnostics Imaging (SDI) has opened an outpatient imaging center in Vacaville that features digital mammography, bone densitometry and ultrasound. The center plans to add X-rays and CAT scans in the future.
“This will be a great convenience for our mammography patients in Vacaville who have had to travel to our Fairfield imaging center,” explained Adrian Riggs, director of SDI. “Not only are we adding the latest in digital mammography, but we are consolidating other services in a more centrally located venue for our patients.
“We can easily and quickly deliver results to any primary care physician that has the ability to receive digital files,” Adrian explained. “The new center, the new mammography equipment and the addition of a CAT scanner in 2012 will make NorthBay a leader in outpatient imaging in Vacaville.”
SDI is an independent service provider under the umbrella of NorthBay Healthcare. The new center is located in the VacaValley Health Plaza at 1010 Nut Tree Drive on the campus of NorthBay VacaValley Hospital.
