Vacaville Firefighters Passionately Pink Fundraiser Oct. 24

For the second year, Vacaville firefighters are supporting breast cancer awareness and the NorthBay Center for Women’s Health with fundraisers at two restaurants on Wednesday, Oct. 24.

Meet the firefighters for breakfast at Wren’s Cafe, 1005 Merchant St., between 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 50 percent of the proceeds will be donated to the Center for Women’s Health, a NorthBay affiliate.

Have dinner at Pietro’s No. 1, at 407 Cernon St., between 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and 50 percent of the purchase of any size pizza (dine-in ore take-out) will also be donated to the Center for Women’s Health.

At both locations, firefighters dressed in pink will be your servers. And, pink Vacaville Fire Department t-shirts will be for sale.
