Healthier Living Class Offered in Spanish
A special presentation of “Healthier Living” in Spanish will be offered on Tuesday evenings in Vacaville, Aug. 13 through Sept. 17.
The free, six-week course is open to anyone living with a chronic disease, as well as family members and care takers of someone with a chronic health condition.
The self-management program is sponsored by NorthBay Healthcare, Solano Public Health and the Area Agency on Aging.
Classes in English are ongoing, but this is the first Spanish-speaking presentation.
“Healthier Living: A Chronic Condition Self-Management Program” is an award-winning program developed by Stanford University to help people better manage chronic health conditions, to live a happier, healthier life.
Classes will run from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the VacaValley Health Plaza, 1010 Nut Tree Road, Room No. 290 in Vacaville.
