Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine
As an osteopathic physician, I practice hands-on care to diagnose, treat and prevent illness or injury. Osteopathic manipulative treatment, or OMT, involves techniques such as stretching, gentle pressure and resistance to ease pain and promote healing. This is very helpful in treating headaches, and neck and back pain.
I have a special interest in pregnant women and babies. The lower back pain that pregnant women often have usually can be helped with gentle manipulation.
Patient education is a very important part of helping my patients be healthy. Each of my patients is a unique individual with their own requirements for maintaining a healthy and balanced life. I consider my entire patient, physically and mentally, when I make a diagnosis and treatment plan.
I look forward to caring for entire families and watching them grow and prosper.
