Fundraising Volunteers

Gift Shop Volunteers purchase, display and sell new gift items as well as flowers and candy in the Gift Shops at both NorthBay Medical Center and VacaValley Hospital. New items available this year include NorthBay Healthcare logo items. All proceeds from the Gift Shops are used to help support various NorthBay programs.

Thrift Shop Volunteers operate the store in Vacaville.  Volunteers are responsible for the entire operation, from collecting donations to displaying and selling the merchandise.   As with the gift shops, all proceeds are used in support of NorthBay programs.

Special Events - Guild volunteers participate in many special fundraising events throughout the year. Among them are the annual NorthBay Guild Golf and Tennis Classic, "penny wraps", bake sales, plant sales, an annual garage sale and the monthly Guild Quilting Circle (quilts are raffled at various special events).

The volunteers also conduct monthly support group meetings for caregivers of Alzheimer’s patients. Volunteers provide leadership for the Solano County Alzheimer's Memory Walk.
