Alzheimer's
Services
Alzheimer's disease and related
dementia currently affect about four million people nationwide and about
7,500 in Solano County. Those numbers are expected to rise as our
population ages. These diseases have tragic consequences for those
facing the diagnosis as well as the families and friends who must watch
the disease progression and provide care for their loved ones. Local
services are available for those with dementia as well as to help
caregivers, family members and friends better understand and cope with
the effects of these diseases.
