Developing
long-term relationships with patients is why Dr. Chen enjoys being a
physician. "It is extremely rewarding caring for patients over time
and helping them reach their health goals," she says. "My
patients tell me how comfortable they are with me and that I am a good
listener."
Dr. Chen tries
to spend time getting to know each patient as an individual and then
tailoring a health care plan that is right right for each of them.
"It's also important to educate my patients about their health in
understandable and practical ways," Dr. Chen adds. She finds caring
for patients with chronic health conditions especially challenging and
satisfying.
Dr. Chen comes
to Fairfield from Boston and is looking forward to building a medical
practice in Fairfield. She is accepting patients age 18 and older.
