The NorthBay Center for Wound Care is an outpatient center committed to the treatment of difficult, non-healing wounds. Our offices are conveniently located in Green Valley (near Costco) and Vacaville (near VacaValley Hospital). 

The professional staff of the Center is trained to provide a specialized, comprehensive course of therapy to assist in healing problem wounds.  Treatment at the Wound Center is designed to be coordinated with the patient's primary care physician.  

The Center is made up of a team of professionals that includes:

• Physicians with advanced training in wound management;
• Nursing staff trained in the care of chronic wounds;
• Technicians who perform non-invasive studies and various therapies;
• Experienced staff to assist with appointments, medical records, and health insurance processing.

Upon referral to the Center, patients undergo a thorough diagnostic examination to identify the type of wound and the underlying problems that may be causing the wound.  A program individually tailored will be initiated based on the most effective treatment options, including hyperbaric oxygen therapy.  At the Center for Wound Care, we follow the most up-to-date treatment protocols specifically established for each type of wound.

Once a treatment plan has been initiated, patients visit the Wound Center on a regular basis for wound care and documentation of the healing process.  Patients are instructed how to care for their wounds at home between visits, as well as how to protect their wounds from further injury.
