Sharing Knee Know-how

Orthopedic Surgeon Andrew Brooks, M.D., explains a point during Doc Talk Live.

A crowd of more than 80 people was engaged and entertained as orthopedic surgeon Andrew Brooks, M.D., shared the latest information on knee injury prevention and treatment during “Doc Talk Live – Totally Knees,” held June 28 at the Green Valley Administration Center. 

Dr. Brooks detailed the most common knee injuries, including ACL and other ligament injuries, and discussed various treatment options for common knee problems. He walked his audience through the basic structures of the knee and how injuries can happen, injecting humor and answering questions from the audience during the hour-long discussion.

Doc Talk Live is an informational program to help the community learn more about common health issues from NorthBay Healthcare experts.
