NorthBay Healthcare is not a members-only system. Its mission is to serve everyone, regardless of their ability to pay. That means filling the gaps by creating services that other hospitals cannot, or will not, provide. It's what makes us a truly community-based institution that is focused solely on our own community, investing in our family, friends and neighbors.
Here, among many other compelling explanations, are the Top 5 Reasons NorthBay Medical Center should be the county's Level II trauma center:
Our team of 42 highly skilled trauma and specialty surgeons, available immediately around the clock, has the enthusiastic support of a medical staff of more than 150 ready to respond immediately to trauma cases.
The Fairfield hospital, is best situated geographically. 51% of county residents live within 15 minutes, while only 38% live within 15 minutes of Kaiser's Vacaville facility. More importantly, 96% of all county residents live within 25 minutes of NorthBay Medical Center, while just 60% are that close to Kaiser's hospital.
A complete range of advanced services are available in NorthBay Medical Center, from neonatal intensive care to obstetrics to stroke, heart attack and neurosurgery. It has the richest array of services of any hospital in Solano County, in one location, available to all.
