Program Description

The advancement of technology in the world we live in today provides a glimpse into what our future could become. Industries of all kind rely so much on technology, and healthcare is no different. Clinicians are challenged today to deliver evidence-based care while managing demanding healthcare environments. The process of keeping pace with the latest recommendations have never been more relevant than in the fast pace world of healthcare in the 21st century. This program will include how we can and should leverage new innovations and emerging technological advances to address contemporary issues from personalized health care to population health and the complexity of delivering evidence-based care.

Join us for an opportunity to share new research, evidence based practice implementation, and new innovations focused on eliminating preventable harm to patients across the healthcare continuum. Conference participants will learn strategies to translate evidence into practice and have an opportunity to discuss a wide variety of clinical issues that will be presented. The goal is to come away with a better understanding of how technology and new innovations can impact patient care and clinical outcomes.

Program Objectives

  1. Stimulate thinking regarding innovative practices that are efficient and effective in bringing evidence-based practice to the bedside.
  2. Promote the use of evidence to achieve quality, safety and value within healthcare.
  3. Facilitate networking to advance application of technology for improved health care outcomes.
