Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Professional Profile

I have always been fascinated by the mind, what motivates us, and how our thoughts impact both our feelings and behavior. Helping people is an absolute joy for me, and it is a pleasure to help my patients take control of their emotional states and improve the quality of their lives.

I chose social work as a profession because of my love of advocacy. Additionally, I have seen the incredible work of my patients as they embrace therapy. Being a part of that work is both motivating and rewarding. In my work as a LCSW, I hope to help to decrease the stigma surrounding mental health and therapy through increasing understanding and providing support. I believe strongly in the connection between our mental health and physical health and am proud to be a member of an integrated mental health treatment team.

The role of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker is both collaborative and supportive. My approach is rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy. Through use of mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and other evidenced-based practices (such as dialectical behavioral therapy), we will work together to reach your goals. It is my goal to help patients identify and build upon their strengths, empowering them through the therapy process and beyond.

Being patient and empathetic, combined with my patient-centered model of care, I have helped many people in my 10-plus years of experience in mental health and substance use treatment and look forward to helping many more.
