Licensed Clinical Social Worker Profile

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience, I work to empower people struggling with life challenges to become who it is that they want to be.

I chose my career path in medical social work after living through an illness with a family member. I saw the need for caregivers who are sensitive to the needs of diverse patients.

My role is to meet each person where they are. I acknowledge their strengths and accomplishments and acknowledge their right to self-determinations. I work to empower each person to be the person they want to be.

Meeting each new patient is the best part of my day. I appreciate their uniqueness and look forward to learning something new with each encounter.

I consider my work style and the way I interact with patients to be more casual. I want my patients to know that they have permission to be themselves without fear of being judged.
