Professional Profile

My passion is to help and care for others and to make a difference in their lives. I pursued a medical career because I knew from an early age that I wanted to provide an avenue toward healing and to help the sick.

It gives me great job satisfaction when I see patients receive appropriate treatment and the care they deserve. What I like best about my work is the direct impact I can have on a patient in regards to their care and treatment.

I also love working with a brilliant cardiology team.

The role of a cardiology nurse practitioner is to provide safe, evidence-based care that reaches not only the physiological issues of the heart but, more importantly, the heart of each patient. The role of the nurse practitioner in this area is expanding and that makes it an exciting time for the profession to innovate and be creative in becoming more effective providers.

I pursued nurse practitioner training to improve my personal goals of expanding my knowledge in order to best treat those in need.

I want my patients to know that I am caring, compassionate and competent. I want to assure them that my aim is to provide personal care and that I see them for their individuality not as just another patient on the list. I want them to know that this profession is my life’s calling.
