Otolaryngologist Profile

As an otolaryngology, I specialize in the treatment and management of diseases and disorders of the ear, nose, throat, and related bodily structures.

For me, the most important part of what I do is listening to my patients. When they come to see me, I am not spending all my time on the computer. I listen and talk to them and try to get a thorough history so that I can best address their concerns and care for them.

I also take the time to discuss their health care with them. It’s important to me to make sure they understand my thoughts on what I can do to help them.

I typically treat patients of all ages and with a wide range of issues. I see children who are maybe having troubles with their ears and nose, or difficulty breathing or have enlarged tonsils or adenoids. With adults, I often see patients with tinnitus (ringing in the ears) or imbalance/vertigo issues. I see patients with sinus and throat problems or even neck tumors.

I chose medicine as my career because I was always interested in science and I like helping people, so medicine has been a good blend of those things. Seeing a happy patient and hearing their appreciation when I help them is very satisfying.

I have had the privilege to serve the communities of Fairfield and Vacaville for more than 30 years and during that time I have worked closely with NorthBay. Joining the team at NorthBay was a natural progression. In fact, I have served for many years as a board member on the NorthBay Healthcare Group Board. So I am very pleased with the commitment that NorthBay has made to provide comprehensive ear, nose and throat care.

When I am not working, I enjoy being outdoors and enjoy the beautiful area in which we live.
