Professional Profile

Growing up I was very active in sports, and while playing basketball I quickly found out how important the foot and ankle are. When thinking about career choices, I knew I either wanted to be a professional athlete, or work in medicine. Well, the NBA didn’t work out, but my love for sports ties in very nicely with my work as a podiatric physician.

As a podiatrist, I can help patients with their foot and ankle issues, both conservatively and surgically, and enjoy guiding them through their journey. And many times, I can help them feel better walking out of my office than walking in, and I really enjoy that!

I treat all kinds of foot and ankle conditions, from bunions and hammertoes to heel pain and sports-related injuries, and work with patients of all ages. I have a special interest in sports medicine, minor to complex foot and ankle trauma, as well as total ankle replacement, and I completed a fellowship that specialized in foot and ankle reconstruction and trauma. I also treat all aspects of diabetic foot care and deformity correction.

When patients come to see me, they can expect a calm environment and my full attention, to be heard, and to be treated by an excellent care team. I will be an advocate for their health and well-being and they should know that we will work together to come up with a treatment plan that works for them. Our feet take a beating daily, and sometimes there isn’t an easy fix, but we can work through it together. And, when patients get better, that is when I really enjoy what I do.

My patients can expect to be treated with the same commitment and dedication I would give to those closest to me. I won’t offer my patients anything I wouldn’t offer my friends or family.

When not at work, I enjoy being active in sports, both participating and watching. I also enjoy being outdoors, hiking and spending time with my family.
