Professional Profile

Nutrition is a powerful thing. You can drastically change your health and quality of life just by changing what you choose to put into your body.

In my role as a dietitian, it is my job to help educate people on credible, science-based nutrition information and to help them make informed decisions about their food and nutrition. I always strive to make personalized recommendations and explain things in a way that makes sense to them. My main objective is to help my patients reach their personal goals while also meeting their specific nutritional needs.

The beginning of my path to becoming a registered dietitian started with my love for food. I was the kid who always wanted to help my mom in the kitchen and help plan out what our family would have for dinners for the week. As I got older, I started learning how food and nutrition can affect the body which fascinated me. The idea of being able to make a career out of helping people and talking about food all day seemed like a dream come true.

The best part of my work is that every day and every patient is different. I get the opportunity to work with a wide variety of nutrition related issues from diabetes to obesity to gastrointestinal issues. I also thoroughly enjoy using my culinary background to do cooking demonstrations and teach people how to make healthy food taste great!

I look forward to helping each and every patient create an individualized plan and supporting them in their journey to develop a healthy relationship with food.
