Here’s an at-a-glance of the new NorthBay Health Foundation Board of Directors:

Dennis LandisDennis Landis, a retired Fairfield restaurateur, is chair of the Board. He has been a member for the past 21 years, and remained an active core member throughout its re-imagination phase.

Scott ReynoldsScott Reynolds will serve as vice chair. He is managing partner of Reynolds Law and has been a Foundation board member since 2003. He also served on the committee of the NorthBay Wine, Brew & Food Jubilee for many years.

Al ShawAl Shaw, past president and chairman of the board for the Hofmann Co., is secretary. He has been a member of the Foundation board since 2009 and through the years he, and wife, Patt, have been long-time NorthBay Health supporters. They were presenting sponsors for the NorthBay Wine, Brew & Food Jubilee for more than a decade, consistently donated live auction items for Open That Bottle Night events, and contributed to the Dream of a Lifetime program. In 2016, the couple donated $5 million to NorthBay to support construction of the North Tower. The Shaw Family Kitchen in the wing was named after them as a point of gratitude.

Bill FellBill Fell will serve as treasurer. He is the former owner of Green Valley Ford and is currently in fleet and commercial sales for Fairfield Ford. He has been a board member since 1985, having served as chair for five years. He has been a consistent supporter of the Foundation, not only through his board presence, but he and his wife Annette have also been longtime sponsors of the NorthBay Wine, Brew & Food Jubilee.

Foundation board member Linda Anzalone, O.D.Linda Anzalone, O.D. grew up in Vacaville and returned to the Solano County area after finishing her education at San Diego State University and at UC Berkeley School of Optometry. Prior to starting her private practice in Fairfield, Dr. Anzalone practiced in large ophthalmology clinics and served as a clinical instructor at the UC Berkeley School of Optometry. In 2004, she purchased the optometry practice of the late Ronald Furukawa and she started Solano Eye Care, an Optometric Corporation, where she continues to care for patients. She considers it an honor to serve her community by joining the NorthBay Heath Foundation Board as they strive to support our unique and excellent private healthcare system. She is married and has two adult children and five grandchildren. She loves spending time with her family and enjoys traveling.

Mark Behl, President and CEO of NorthBay Health.Mark Behl will serve on the board as an ex-officio member. In his role as CEO and President for NorthBay Health, Mark also sits on the corporation board, the healthcare group board, and the health advantage board.

Sandy PersonSandy Person is executive director, Travis Community Consortium, Solano Economic Development Corporation. Previously she served as president of the Solano Economic Development Corporation. She has served as a board member and past chair of the NorthBay Health Advantage Board since 1998.

Helen Pierson, Foundation board member.Helen Pierson is the CEO of Medic Ambulance Service, which has been serving Solano County for 47 years. Helen Pierson started with the company in 1988 and was named CEO in 2019. Under her leadership, Medic Ambulance has lead a dedicated team that Solano County and the surrounding region have come to depend on. Helen is a past-president of the California Ambulance Association -- only the second woman in the association’s 65-year history to hold this position. She also plays key roles in many community organizations including Vallejo Rotary, Leadership Vallejo and Saint Francis High School in Sacramento. She was recognized as the Kiwanian of the Year in 1993 and was Vallejo Rotary Club president for 2015-2016. Helen is a past board member for Christian Brothers High School. Helen lives in Fairfield and has three adult children who work in the family business. Medic Ambulance, along with her family, have been great supporters of “Open that Bottle Night” and the NorthBay Health Jubilee for many years. She is a member of Women’s HOPE at NorthBay Health and serves on the committee for the NorthBay Health Jubilee.

keyo TocchiniKeyo Tocchini is President/COO of Before The Movie, a company that produces digital pre-shows that air on movie screens across the United States. Keyo and her husband, Corey, have been long-time supporters of NorthBay’s philanthropic efforts. Corey was a Foundation board member before the hiatus, and for many years the couple have sponsored the NorthBay Wine, Brew & Food Jubilee, donating time to produce advertisements for the Jubilee to air in local movie theaters.

Mark Villalon, M.D.Mark Villalon, M.D., is a cardiologist/interventional cardiologist for NorthBay Health. He joined NorthBay in 2019 and currently serves as Vice Chief of Staff. His wife, Rachel Villalon, M.D., has been an OB/GYN for NorthBay since 2014.

J. Peter Zopfi, D.O.J. Peter Zopfi, D.O., is a general surgeon and Trauma Program Medical Director for NorthBay Health. He joined the Foundation Board of Directors in 2003 and was a member of the Foundation board before it went on hiatus.
