Board Member Honored with Soroptimist Ruby

NorthBay Healthcare Foundation Board member Nancy Meadows Trigueiro received Soroptimist International of Central Solano’s Ruby Award for her work on Fairfield’s “Fun on the Run” recreation program, during the Soroptimists’ 17th annual Women Making a Difference awards luncheon.

Fun on the Run is a project of the Fairfield Host Lions’ club. It is a free mobile after-school program for children ages 4 to 15, and Nancy has been an avid supporter of the program for many years. To raise funds for it, she created the Prime Rib in the Park benefit back in 2004 and it has raised more than $500,000 to support Fun on the Run since then.

In addition to serving on the NorthBay Healthcare Foundation board, Nancy has also served as president, treasurer and zone chairman of the Fairfield Host Lions. She was named Solano County’s Woman of the Year in 2015 during Women’s History Month, has served as an honorary commander of the 571st Mobility Support Advisory Squadron at Travis Air Force Base, and is a past winner of the Fairfield Citizen of the Year Award.
