NorthBay Healthcare Hospitals, Clinics Are Open

Posted: October 9, 2019

At this time, NorthBay Healthcare’s two hospitals and all medical offices are open, and emergency services are available, during the Public Safety Power Shutdown.

All outpatient services – from primary care centers to specialty clinics and the Adult Day Center – are serving patients. If you have an appointment today, please arrive on time as usual.

Patients will be notified by NorthBay staff if it is necessary to reschedule appointments.

Because there could be more shutoffs, NorthBay Healthcare advises local residents to be prepared:

  • Consider the food and medications kept in your refrigerator and how you could preserve them for hours, days or a week.

  • Maintain emergency supplies of water, food and medicine including those for pets.

  • Keep gas in your vehicles topped off, purchase a cell-phone recharger and keep it and your cell phone fully charged.

PG&E has opened community resource centers this morning at these locations:

  • Mission Church,6391 Leisure Town Road, Vacaville

  • Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, 1001 Fairgrounds Drive, Vallejo

Both provide restrooms, bottled water, electronic device charging stations and air-conditioned seating areas.

Watch this website for updates and changes should new power shutoffs occur.
