Deadline Nears to Submit Photos for Tree Event
Posted: November 17, 2020NorthBay Hospice & Bereavement has every intention of hosting the community for a special memorial to honor lost loved ones at the start of the holiday season this year. It just won’t be in person.
Thanks to CrowdCast, the team is offering a virtual Hospice Tree of Memories event at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5.
“Guests will be able to participate in the memorial in the comfort and safety of their own home,” said Jennifer Flam, Hospice chaplain and bereavement volunteer coordinator. “Music, virtual placement of a ceremonial ornament on the tree, a photo slideshow and a listing of names in memory of those who have died will be included.”
“Our tradition is to give a ceremonial ornament to all who attend to hang on our memorial tree to honor and celebrate the memory of a loved one,” said Jeanne Dennis, executive director of NorthBay Hospice & Bereavement. “Guests who view the memorial will still be able to submit names of loved ones and our Hospice volunteers will be happy to place the ornament on the tree.”
Participants should send photos of loved ones to be included in the slideshow to Bereavement@NorthBay.org by Nov. 20.
Keepsake ornaments are available for a $20 donation.
To order an ornament, or to sign up to receive the web link needed to view the Tree of Memories, RSVP to Brenda Boyd at (707) 646-3517 or email BBoyd@NorthBay.org.
