The Interventional Endoscopy program at NorthBay Healthcare offers minimally invasmayo-clinic-care-networkive endoscopic services to the Solano County community and beyond. The use of state-of-the-art interventional endoscopic advances and techniques allow us to diagnose and treat many gastrointestinal and pancreaticobiliary diseases, avoiding the need for surgery.

Procedures

ERCP / Diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography for:

Management of benign disease:

  • Bile duct stone
  • Post-operative bile leaks
  • Inflammatory biliary strictures

Diagnosis and management of malignant diseases:

  • Biliary obstruction from pancreatic cancer
  • Bile duct cancer
  • Liver cancer

Comprehensive management of chronic and recurrent pancreatitis:

  • Pancreatic sphincterotomy

EUS / Diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic ultrasound with fine-needle aspiration for:

Our team

Interventional Endoscopist, Nazia Hasan MD, MPH
Dr. Hasan is a Harvard-trained interventional endoscopist. She received her medical degree and a master's in Public Health at George Washington University. She then completed her residency in internal medicine at New York University where she was selected for a chief residency position. She completed a gastroenterology fellowship at New York University and went on to an interventional endoscopy fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center at Harvard Medical School. She joined NorthBay in 2015 where she established the interventional endoscopy program. She is passionate about bringing the most advanced endoscopic care to Solano County.
