Birth and Maternity Care

The birth of your child is a very special time. At NorthBay Healthcare, we do everything possible to make your experience memorable.

NorthBay is where every expectant mother, including those with high-risk pregnancies, can turn for the highest level of care either through our Center for Women's Health or ABC Prenatal Program (for families without insurance).

Combining close-to-home comfort and personalized maternity care with the highest level of expertise in Solano County and across the North Bay region, we are dedicated to providing the best care for you and your baby which is why we have board certified OB/GYNs in the hospital around-the-clock to support your delivery no matter what time of day. Just in case your new baby needs extra support after birth, our level III Community Neonatal Intensive Care Unit staffed with board certified neonatologists is just a few steps away.

And, we’re the only Solano hospital with a baby-friendly designation which means our staff members are specially trained to help you with breastfeeding.

Since 1960, more than 35,000 babies have come into the world at NorthBay Medical Center. With an average of 1,500 babies born here each year, our staff is among the most experienced in the area.

Even though we welcome many new babies at our hospital each day, rest assured you will be treated as an individual and provided the safest and most memorable birthing experience possible.
