What to Expect
Billing and Financial Assistance
Some medications require complex documentation for costs to be covered. Our reimbursement specialists have the expertise to process insurance paperwork to make sure you not only receive all your medications in a timely and trouble-free manner, but also that you maximize the benefits of your health plan. When coverage is not available or co-pays are high, NorthBay Specialty Pharmacy will help patients enroll in financial assistance programs.
Proactive Refills and Renewal
Prior to each refill, a patient care coordinator will contact you one week before your prescription is due to run out to schedule a refill. The patient care coordinators will also discuss any medication barriers that you may be experiencing, such as administration difficulties, side effects or cost concerns. A member of our specialty team will contact your doctor to verify your therapy and renew your prescription if needed.
