During this time of COVID-19, NorthBay Health has implemented precautions for the safety of our patients and employees. In order to have a procedure done with NorthBay Health, every patient will be required to complete a COVID-19 rapid test 48 hours prior to their procedure, 24 hours prior to their procedure and again on the day of their procedure.

It is highly recommended to avoid sick individuals, crowds and communal living spaces at least 10 days prior to your procedure. If you are living with anyone who is COVID-19-positive within 5 days of your procedure, it is best to reschedule your procedure. COVID-19 symptoms include but aren’t limited to: fever, sore throat, cough, congestion, unexplained muscle aches or difficulty breathing.

  1. You will receive a rapid COVID-19 home test from your physician’s office or you can pick up a test kit from either The Surgery Center in Vacaville or the NorthBay Medical Center Registration in Fairfield at least 48 hours prior to your procedure. You are also welcome to use your own COVID-19 home test.
    1. The Surgery Center
1006 Nut Tree Rd., Vacaville, CA 95687
Hours of Operation: Monday through Thursday 7:00am – 2:00pm
    2. NorthBay Medical Center Registration
1200 B. Gale Wilson Blvd., Fairfield, CA 94533
Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday 5:00am – 3:30pm
  2. There will be two tests in your COVID-19 test kit. Please take one test 48 hours prior to your procedure, and take the second test 24 hours prior to your procedure.
  3. If either test is positive and/or you develop symptoms consistent with COVID, please call your physician’s office as soon as possible to reschedule your procedure.
  4. If your tests are negative, it is in your best interest to wear a mask and avoid potential exposures until your scheduled procedure day.
  5. On the day of your scheduled procedure, a NorthBay Health team member will administer a rapid COVID-19 test and complete a COVID symptom and exposure screen. If positive, we will reschedule your procedure.

Thank you in advance for helping to keep NorthBay Health staff and our community safe through COVID-19 testing prior to your procedure.
