American College of Surgeons (ACoS) - Level II Trauma Verification

Level II Trauma Center verified by the American College of Surgeons. For patients in need of trauma care, time is of the essence. NorthBay's Medical Center is a verified Level II trauma center by the American College of Surgeons, assuring that critically injured patients receive the highest level of trauma care available outside a university medical center. This means 24-hour coverage by surgeons, anesthesiologists, radiologist and a critical care team to treat trauma injuries.

In addition to being named a Breast Imaging Center for Excellence, we are accredited in the following: MRI (breast, head, spine, body, musculoskeletal, and MR angiography); Computed Tomography (adult and pediatric head/neck, chest and abdomen; mammography, stereotactic biopsy), PET (Oncology), breast ultrasound, and ultrasound-guided breast biopsy.
