Jessica Powers, MD

Jessica Powers, MD, serves as a member of the Northbay Health Foundation Board of Directors, bringing extensive clinical and leadership experience in hematology, oncology, and military medicine. A Hematologist/Oncologist at Northbay Health, Dr. Powers also serves as Medical Director of the Cancer Center and Chair of the Cancer Committee.

She joined Northbay in 2017 following a distinguished career in the United States Air Force, retiring at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. A committed clinician and leader, Dr. Powers joined the Foundation Board in 2025 and continues to advance compassionate, high-quality cancer care for the communities Northbay serves.

Dr. Powers earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University’s Medical College of Virginia. She completed her internal medicine residency and hematology/oncology fellowship at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium.
