Video visits

With a video visit, you can avoid the drive and see your primary or specialty care doctor from anywhere in California

Expert care made easier

Sometimes, coming into the office for a visit with your doctor isn’t an option. Whether you’re sick, pressed for time or unable to get to the office, we have you covered.

With a video visit, you’ll have a face-to-face appointment in real time using a mobile phone, tablet or computer.

You can show your provider areas of concern, discuss your symptoms and review your medications – just as you would during an in-office appointment. After the assessment, your provider will recommend a treatment plan so you can get started on the road to recovery.

How to request a video visit

Existing primary care patients can also make an appointment through the MyNorthbayDoc patient portal, or contact your doctor for a video visit appointment.

Why choose telehealth?

Video visits can make getting the care you need easier and more convenient. When life happens, turn to Northbay Health for flexibility that helps you stay connected without a trip to the office.

  • Meet privately and securely with your care team: Telehealth uses secure technology to protect your privacy while you connect with your healthcare provider.
  • Get care from your home, office, car or another location: See your provider from a place that’s convenient for you.
  • Avoid time spent traveling and in the waiting room: By skipping the commute, parking lot and waiting room, your appointment takes less time out of your day.
  • Fit your appointment into your busy schedule: With no travel time to plan for, it may be easier to schedule your appointment around other commitments.

Conditions we treat with video visits

Telehealth can be a convenient option for many common, nonurgent health concerns that don’t require an in-person exam. Examples include:

  • Allergies
  • Cold and flu symptoms
  • Minor infections
  • Minor injuries
  • Rashes

In some cases, you can use video visits for follow-up care, medication management and ongoing health needs.

When you call your provider's office to set up an appointment, they will determine whether a video visit is an option for your condition.
