About Dr. Kaufman:
Dr. Se
th Kaufman is an Emergency Services physician, and was named chief medical officer for NorthBay Health in 2017, and added the role as chief quality officer in 2021.
He has been affiliated with NorthBay since 2005, most notably in the Emergency Department as a staff physician and medical director. He has represented NorthBay Health on the Solano Emergency Medical Services Cooperative Board of Directors, an agency that oversees the county trauma system and EMS response network.
Dr. Kaufman earned his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco. He completed his residency in emergency medicine at the University of Chicago. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Emergency Medicine and a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.
