Professional Profile

Family is my foundation and I believe that it plays a significant role in patient care. I treat each of my patients like I would treat any member of my family.

While attending the University of California, Davis, I found myself at a crossroad between research and patient care. Although, I enjoyed both, I ultimately felt a calling for a medical career and patient care. It was during my undergraduate and graduate years at the university when I got my first experience in direct patient care through employment and volunteer work at area hospitals. I quickly realized that my personality and my ability to empathize and care for people suited me perfectly for nursing. I became a nurse because I am passionate about patient care and education.

I also wanted autonomy, options, and a challenge without foregoing my ultimate passion for patient care and education and that is what spurred me to pursue Advanced Practice Nursing.

Currently, I have a dual role as an oncology nurse navigator and lung program coordinator. I came to NorthBay Healthcare with a background in palliative care and symptom management. I received my bachelor’s degree in biology and a Masters in immunology at U.C. Davis and subsequently completed the accelerated BS/MSN Program at Columbia University in New York City. I am in the process of certifying as an Advanced Oncology Nurse Practitioner.

If there is one thing that I want my patients to know about me, it is that I am their advocate and they can count on me as a caregiver. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending quality time with my son. I enjoy the outdoors and reading a good book.

Accepted Health Plans

Below is a list of plans accepted by all NorthBay Health providers unless designated as an independent community doctor.

While we strive to keep this list up to date, it's always a good idea to check with your health plan to determine the specific details of your coverage, and to contact the provider's office to verify acceptance of your particular plan.
