Professional Profile

The human body is a miraculous machine that needs love, care and maintenance to perform optimally. My fascination with medicine and care of the human body started at a young age and it was always my goal to pursue a meaningful career in medicine to help people live happier and healthier lives.

Early on in my work life, I spent times teaching high school biology. I was attracted to becoming a physician assistant because it integrates my dedication to educating with my passion for health. Physician assistants are “mid-level” practitioners. We are able to improve access to health care for patients with excellent quality of care. We work closely with physicians as part of a team while we help patients get the best health outcome possible.

My patients are the best part of the work that I do. I have helped people from many walks of life, many cultures and backgrounds. I enjoy educating my patients but I have to admit, I often find that they are teaching me as well.

The bottom line is that I want my patients to know that even if I am not in front of them, I am concerned about them. I am here to hear them out when they want to be heard and I will advocate for them when they need support.
