Medical oncology is part of the comprehensive cancer care provided at the Northbay Health Heidi Y Campini Cancer Center. Under the direction of Dr. James Long, a team of highly regarded oncology specialists, and physicians spanning multiple disciplines, use their years of experience and continuous training to bring the most current and leading-edge drug treatments to cancer patients in Solano County.

Early diagnosis is the key to better outcomes, so we offer lung and breast screening to detect cancer at its most treatable stage. The full-spectrum of sophisticated diagnostic tools from PET scans and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to minimally invasive biopsy techniques are available to provide our medical oncologists with the information they need to design customized treatment plans for every patient.

Multidisciplinary case conferences provide the opportunity for Northbay experts from a variety of cancer disciplines to provide input on the design of treatment plans for our patients. For complex cases, our oncologists can even tap the expertise of Mayo Clinic subspecialists through our membership in the Mayo Clinic Care Network.
