Daily Republic Readers Pick NorthBay as Best Hospital

Posted: March 12, 2020

Readers of The Daily Republic Newspaper voted NorthBay Medical Center the Best Hospital in the county for 2020 in the newspaper’s recent Readers’ Choice special section.

It marks this sixth year in a row that NorthBay has taken the honor.

NorthBay Medical Center has come a long way in 60 years, but remains committed to its mission of delivering compassionate care and advanced medicine, close to home for Solano County residents, the newspaper story read.

“It’s all about delivering first-class patient care so patients don’t have to venture far from home to get the help they need,” said President and CEO B. Konard Jones. “We are consistently adding sophisticated services, and the latest in technology so our talented surgeons, physicians and medical and ancillary staff can exceed our patients’ expectations as we continue to grow.”

The article noted NorthBay’s historic roots in the community and included details on its growth through the decades. That growth helps NorthBay continue to provide health care access to everyone in the community, Konard noted in the article. “I think it’s what civic leaders had in mind more than 60 years ago when they started going door-to-door to raise money to launch the whole project,” he said. “I think they would be proud of how far we’ve come and where we’re going.”
