April Chat Will Focus on Knees

Do you or someone you know have knees that feel more like rusted hinges on a good day? Perhaps you’ve suffered a knee injury and need help with healing options? If so, a streaming video presentation in April by orthopedic specialist Andrew Brooks, M.D., may be just what the doctor ordered.
Dr. Brooks, medical director for NorthBay Health’s Joint Replacement Program, will present a half-hour live video chat on knee pain treatment options on April 20 at 11 a.m on the NorthBay Facebook page. Viewers will have the opportunity to ask questions.
If you have knee pain you can often relieve your discomfort at home. But more serious cases (like sudden injuries that damage tendons and ligaments, or severe joint degeneration) need medical attention and sometimes surgery. Dr. Brooks will discuss the many options available.
