Doc Talk Focuses on Managing a Budget
NorthBay Health will continue its series of live Facebook chats with physicians this fall.
Doc Talk Live chats are half-hour events featuring presentations on a variety of health topics. Each chat includes time for questions and answers and can be viewed live on the NorthBay Facebook page (Facebook.com/NorthBayHealthcare).
Next up is Diabetologist Jay Shubrook, D.O., at 12:30 p.m. on July 28. He will discuss “Managing Diabetes on a Budget,” sharing his expertise on managing your health without breaking the bank.
Then, physical therapist Bob Baker will discuss why knees get injured and what to do for prevention and athletic performance at 5 p.m. on Aug. 26. The presentation will cover the most recent trends in the biomechanics of knee pain and current trends in preventing knee injuries.
Join physician Larissa Chartrand, M.D., as she discusses preventative medicine and how it differs from maintenance medicine, providing her top preventative tips at noon on Sept. 22.
Vascular surgeon Melissa Loja, M.D., will discuss aortic aneurism diagnosis and treatment options during her presentation at 10 a.m. Oct. 13.
Orthopedic specialist Robert Peterson, M.D., will lead a discussion on sports medicine, offering his advice on maintaining athletic health and avoiding injury at 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 17.
