As Senior Vice President, Chief Nursing Officer, Heather Resseger leads NorthBay Health’s acute care strategy, patient experience, and operational excellence initiatives.
With over 20 years of experience in healthcare leadership, she is recognized for advancing quality, safety, and innovation within complex hospital systems. Heather played a pivotal role in achieving Magnet designation with distinction and has consistently driven improvements in clinical outcomes, staff engagement, and patient-centered care. Her leadership expertise spans high-reliability practices, infection prevention, behavioral health planning, and crisis response—skills that proved essential during the COVID-19 pandemic. Known for her integrity, empathy and collaborative spirit, she is deeply respected for her ability to inspire teams and lead with both compassion and accountability.
