The Secondhand Rose - NorthBay Thriftique is a thrift shop like none other in Solano County.
"Shabby chic" is the theme, and its shelves and displays are filled with carefully staged arrangements of gently used and new merchandise. Secondhand Rose, in downtown Vacaville, is run entirely by the volunteers of NorthBay Guild, and every dollar earned here is returned to NorthBay Healthcare, to help support its programs and to purchase equipment.
NorthBay Guild volunteers — whether they are working at Secondhand Rose, or one of the gift shops at our hospitals, organizing penny wraps and lobby sales, or coordinating the highly successful Golf & Tennis Classic — are a key part of NorthBay Healthcare Foundation's fundraising efforts. The money they raise is used to help support such things as NorthBay's trauma services, and the highly successful Nurse Camp, to purchase equipment or supplies for such departments as Cardiac Rehabilitation, the ABC prenatal care program and the Joint Replacement Program, as well as incubators for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and even new televisions for hospital rooms, among many other items.
Every time you make a purchase at Secondhand Rose - NorthBay Thriftique or in our hospital gift shops or at lobby sales, you are also helping the NorthBay Guild meet its fundraising mission.
