NorthBay Health Welcomes New Chief Physician Enterprise Officer
NorthBay Health, a leading healthcare system providing advanced and compassionate care to address critical, unmet healthcare needs throughout California’s North Bay, is excited to announce the appointment of Dr. John J. Cassani, MBA as the Chief Physician Enterprise Officer.
In this role, Dr. Cassani will oversee all physician enterprise activities and the operations of the medical foundation. This appointment comes at a critical juncture for NorthBay Health as the organization undergoes a period of growth and expansion, including investing $250 million dollars to open a series of new primary and urgent care clinics to address communities’ unmet needs.
Dr. Cassani brings more than 30 years of healthcare leadership experience with key roles at St. Peter’s Health and St. Vincent Medical Center. In these positions he successfully expanded provider networks, improved patient satisfaction, and enhanced operational efficiencies. His expertise includes provider recruitment, business development, quality care initiatives, and contract negotiations.

His leadership will be instrumental in promoting the foundation’s services across the region and supporting NorthBay Health's physicians and providers.
