Magnet with Distinction: Top National Nursing Honor Earned

This prestigious, national honor recognizes NorthBay’s elite level of performance and the quality patient care that nurses have provided patients through continued innovation and compassion.
Created in 2023, the Magnet with Distinction Recognition program commemorates top-tier health organizations that have achieved an unmatched level of nursing excellence while addressing emerging challenges and changes in health care. NorthBay has now joined only 11 other organizations who have achieved this pinnacle of nursing experience.

In their report on NorthBay, the American Nurses Credentialling Center highlighted NorthBay’s inclusive culture, family-oriented environment, and community-focused mentality. Other progressive initiatives that resulted in NorthBay’s recognition include early talent and recruitment efforts to foster the nursing pipeline and internal committees geared towards employees’ well-being, collaboration, and professional development.
