NorthBay Health Expands Senior Leadership Team to Support Regional Growth

Over the past several weeks, NorthBay Health has welcomed several new leaders to its senior management team, and more are set to join the non-profit health system. Each brings unique expertise that reflects NorthBay Health’s commitment to building a strong leadership structure as it enters the next phase of growth.

NorthBay Health, a regional healthcare system dedicated to improving the well-being of local communities by delivering high-quality, conveniently accessible care, continues to evolve as the region’s healthcare needs change. The health system recently expanded into Yolo County with a new clinic in Winters and signed a definitive agreement to acquire Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, further demonstrating its commitment to making exceptional care more accessible.

"Growth only matters if we can sustain the quality our patients expect. By bringing the right leaders alongside the exceptional team we already have, NorthBay Health is not just getting bigger – we are getting better,” said Mark Behl, President and CEO of NorthBay Health. “That is the standard our communities deserve, and it is the standard we are committed to delivering."

"Serving more communities and expanding our services takes more than growth – it takes the right leadership," said Jim Andersen, SVP and Chief People Officer at NorthBay Health. "We are thoughtfully building a team with the experience and perspective to support expansion, integrate new capabilities, and ensure we deliver on our mission for the long term."

We recently welcomed a new Executive Vice President (EVP) and Chief Operations Officer, Blain Claypool as well as an EVP of our Medical Network, Jennifer Schaab. Molly Clark is NorthBay Health’s new EVP Chief Administrative Officer and is joined by Will Sutherland, SVP Chief Transformation and Integration Officer. Lastly, NorthBay Medical Center and VacaValley Hospital are now under the leadership of Ro Lofton, SVP Hospital President.

Among the Queen of the Valley acquisition, NorthBay Health is currently executing a plan to build a medical campus in Fairfield, California and delivering on its Ambulatory Network Strategy, which promises to bring primary and urgent care to communities across the region, including Yolo, Napa and Solano Counties. All of this represents a profound commitment to the people of Northern California, and it requires the right leaders to see it through.

NorthBay Health is excited to welcome these leaders and is grateful for the talented team already in place. Their dedication ensures the organization can continue delivering exceptional care to the communities it serves.

As part of a nonprofit, community-based NorthBay health system, NorthBay Medical Center continues to build on more than 60 years of service to residents of Solano, Napa, and Yolo counties.
