The Capstone Experience at NorthBay Health:
Before You Begin
You must be approved by your college or university to complete your capstone experience at NBHC. Please have your clinical placement coordinator or lead faculty advisor contact the NBHC Student Coordinator to proceed with your request.
Start of the Approval Process
- Please review the Student Orientation Manual below and complete the assessment located in myClinicalExchange prior to beginning your experience.
- All students must upload health and safety compliance documents in their student portal through myClinicalExchance. Your clinical placement coordinator or lead faculty advisor will direct you in this process. Health and safety documents will be reviewed for currency and compliance.
After Approval is Confirmed
- You will receive guidance on obtaining your student ID badge prior to beginning your practicum experience
IRB Approval at NorthBay Health
NorthBay Health is committed to supporting you through your capstone project. At NorthBay Health we support a high level of rigor when engaging in research and as such, we require all students to engage in the IRB approval process.
